Principal Luke Beck

     Mr. Beck was born in Flint, Michigan, in 1969. His parents were both Lutheran School teachers who moved to Detroit, Michigan when Luke was the age of five. Both Luke and his younger sister attended Lutheran schools through 8^th grade and later went to the public high school. During his senior year the Becks moved to Long Island, NY where Luke's sister still lives in Manhattan with her husband.

    Mr. Beck went on to attend  Valparaiso University in Indiana where he also met his wife, Cathi. Mr. Beck obtained his Masters from Hofstra University in New York. Luke and Cathi were married in Livonia, MI and settled down in the Chicago Metro area. His first teaching position was at Hope Lutheran School on the south side of Chicago later teaching for several years at St John Lutheran in LaGrange, IL. In 2002 Luke and his family moved to Bay City, MI, where he served for the last three years as Principal.

The Becks have two sons: Joshua, age 9, and Matthew, age 5.
